Thank you for your interest in the Albuquerque Involved Teen Ambassadors Program. This program is designed for dynamic, service-oriented high school sophomores and juniors who are interested in improving their community with support from Albuquerque Involved.
As an Albuquerque Involved Teen Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to participate in community service events and service learning opportunities. With your input, we will create a calendar of activities that will include volunteering, learning from leaders in our nonprofit community, organizing drives for supplies needed in the community and promoting awareness of the needs of our community.
Albuquerque Involved Teen Ambassadors is for students who will be in 10th or 11th grade in the 2019-2020 school year. We will meet approximately 10 times during the school year. Our meetings will be on Sundays, but that date and location may vary depending upon the activity. Meetings will typically last 1-2 hours each. However, on days where we are participating in a community service event, the commitment may be longer. Albuquerque Involved Teen Ambassadors are required to fulfill 8 hours of service learning projects during the year. Please make sure that you will be able to make the time for these activities as participation is critical to the success of this program. Our first meeting of the 2019-2020 program will be September 8, 2019. We look forward to your application!
