Storehouse Food Pantry

  • Storehouse New Mexico 106 Broadway Boulevard Southeast Albuquerque, NM, 87102 United States (map)

The Storehouse became a non-profit organization in 1976 with one specific mission: to help New Mexicans solve their food insecurities regardless of race, faith, age, gender or disability.  New Mexcio is ranked #2 in childhood hunger. Over 100,000 people in Bernalillo are food insecure. Last year, Storehouse fed 50,000 people.

The Storehouse provides free food to people who are struggling. Customers select their own food once per month in Storehouse's unique grocery shopping experience.

Volunteers will sort food, work directly with customers shopping for food, load groceries, and help the Storehouse's small staff.

We will be volunteering in the warehouse, so please wear closed toe shoes (no sandals or flip flops). Children 8 and older are welcome to volunteer at this event.  Children under 14 most be directly supervised one-on-one by a parent or adult at all times during the event.
