Help feed our neighbors in Albuquerque! Volunteers help Storehouse in many ways: sorting food, assisting families, loading groceries, and helping the Storehouse's small staff.
We will be volunteering in the warehouse, so please wear closed toe shoes (no sandals or flip flops). Children 8 and older are welcome to volunteer at this event. Children under 14 must be directly supervised one-on-one by a parent or adult at all times during the event. Please review Storehouse’s volunteer dress code.
Storehouse New Mexico is one of New Mexico’s largest food pantries. Many families fall in a gap where they earn too much to get SNAP, but a major car repair, medical bill, or reduced hours at work can have them wondering where their next meal might come from. Storehouse helps by giving families a full shopping cart of free groceries, including a pre-packed box of nonperishable items, plus meats, dairy, and fruits and/or vegetables.
